Laser Cutting

Laser Cutting

We specialize in the following Laser Cutting methods, blow and burn, cold cutting and scribing. All techniques follow instructions programed from a computer-aided design (CAD) file to ensure extreme accuracy and repeatability between cuts.

Principle of Operation:

  • Laser Beam: A laser (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) emits a highly focused beam of light.
  • Focused Energy: The laser beam is focused and directed onto the material’s surface, where it delivers a high amount of energy in a small spot.

Materials Suitable for Laser Cutting:

  • Metals: Stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and alloys.
  • Plastics: Acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS.
  • Wood and Plywood.
  • Textiles and Fabrics.
  • Paper and Cardboard.

Advantages of Precision Laser Cutting:

  • High Precision: Laser cutting provides extremely precise cuts, allowing for intricate designs and tight tolerances.
  • Versatility: It can cut a wide range of materials and thicknesses.
  • Minimal Material Waste: The focused laser beam minimizes the material affected by the heat, reducing waste.
  • Non-contact Process: Laser cutting is a non-mechanical, non-contact process, reducing wear and tear on tools.
